The male keep guard in a treetop

The nest could easily be observed from the other side of a public lake, approx. 200m. away.

The female warms the newly hatched chicks, June 30th

The male sits in the top of the tallest tree in the forest, keeping watch!

The female leaves the nest to meet the male, who arrives with food.

The male arrives with a little bird-prey.

Prey-delivery takes place in the air.

In between hunting-trips, time for a little preening.

The female (being the strongest) takes the best seating-place...

The chicks are now so big that they can be seen in the nest, July 14th.

The adults call out to the youngs - persuading them to leave the nest maybe ?, July 26th.
