Little Auks going on land

(Kattvik Harbour, Skåne, Sweden,  October 2006)

The days storm had blown several auks into the Swedish west-coast. These two birds found refuge in a local harbour.

To the photographers delight the birds where very tame.

After a couple of hours the birds went ashore,

and found refuge between the old train tracks.

When at last the birds went to hide under cars, they were picked up and brought back to the water.
